Religious School and Youth Group

Religious School

Religious School starts Sunday, August 19th at 9:30 AM. TUITION MUST BE PAID IN FULL FOR YOUR CHILD TO ATTEND. If you have not returned your student application and tuition, please do so ASAP so we can order the proper number of books and materials for this coming year.

TEAM TEACHERS NEEDED! Please step forward and help us educate the next generation of Jewish children. Religious school is every Sunday from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM. We need teachers who can teach at least twice monthly. Please contact Lynda if you are interested in teaching or have any questions regarding Religious School.

Youth Mateh Chaim Association

Senior Youth Group

The Senior Youth Group reluctantly postponed their “end of year” trip to Fort Wilderness on May 27 & 28 due to the wildfires near Disney. The plan is to try again Labor Day weekend.

The first meeting of the 2001-2002 year will be held Sept. 23, 2001 at 11:30 AM at the temple. The Sr. YMCA is open to Jewish students in 9th through 12th grades, affiliated or unaffiliated. Membership dues of .00 will be collected at the meeting. This year’s YMCA advisors are Sheila and Marian.

Junior Youth Group

A final "funday" is planned for all of “last year’s” Jr. YMCA members (2000-2001) on Sunday August 19, 2001 at the Andretti Park beginning at 12 noon(lunch is not included). There will be no cost to the members. Contact Marilyn ASAP to reserve your "funday" spot.

The Jr. group is looking for an advisor for the 2001-2002 year as well as members. The
youth group is open to Jewish children in grades 6 through 8, affiliated or unaffiliated. If
you are either a parent of, or a Jr. YMCA eligible member, call Harriet May for
membership information at 728-4159.
